Ruby Wilkerson Child Abuse Allegation at Kids’ World Center

Ruby Wilkerson
Former teacher at The Kids’ World Center in Madison County, Ruby Wilkerson, was arrested and charged with felony child abuse Tuesday December 7, 2021.

Key Evidence

A child who was at The Kids’ World Center appeared to be beaten by Wilkerson in a surveillance video according to the child’s mother Katorra Lewis.

Lewis stated that the video shows Wilkerson hitting the child several times and leaving bruising on the child’s face.

Suspicion

The footage also showed Lewis’s child covering her head as Wilkerson walked in the room. This gave the impression that Wilkerson may have done this before to the child. No bond was given for Wilkerson.
