A jury in Minneapolis has reached an “outcome” Thursday in the trial of Kim Potter, a former police officer who killed Daunte Wright.
Potter has been taken into custody without bail. Her her sentencing is scheduled for February 18.
Kim claimed it was an accident.
Potter stated she meant to tase Daunte and instead shot him with her gun. She was charged with first and second-degree manslaughter.
The charges carry a maximum 15 and 10 years.
